State Senate Candidate Sarah Howard Addresses Meekhof/Haveman Controversy

In a statement regarding the recent controversy surrounding State Senator Arlan Meekhof and 90th District State House candidate Geoff Haveman

 Meekhof's opponent in November, lawyer Sarah Howard, said the following:
Howard


"I agree that it is vitally important to comply with campaign finance filing rules," Howard said. "The rules are complicated and it's easy to see how a candidate could incur fines for accidental mistakes.

However, I feel fortunate to have a great team that understands and adheres to the rules. As far as Senator Meekhof goes, it would seem he should be very careful before throwing stones (at Geoff Haveman) from a glass house."
