A West Michigan college student is spending his summer interning at the White House for President Trump.
Collin Riddering, a sophomore at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, is working in the Office of Presidential Correspondence.
Riddering, who studies business at Calvin, first made headlines in 2016 as an unapologetic supporter of Trump while he was running for County Commissioner. Even when some believed things weren't looking the best for "The Donald," Riddering had his back. He has also been involved with the West Michigan Republicans group founded by Diane Schindlbeck.
Riddering recently wrote about his experience on the White House website:
"Interning at the White House under President Donald J. Trump has been an experience unlike any other. It has been a great honor to play even a small role in Making America Great Again.
